What’s Good With You??

I am not sure if I’ve used parts of this post in other posts. It was in the hopper and I had nothing else to offer today. If you have topics you think need to be discussed, shoot me an e-mail. But don’t go thinking just cus you sent me an e-mail, I’ll definately write about your topic.

One recent Thursday morning, driving west on Route 66, I thought, “K, too bad you aren’t religious. You could be a good ass pastor–save for the cursing and shyt. You start stories off and have a tendency to end someplace unexpected. And you’re prone to histrionics.” Then I caught an interview with 50 Cent on the radio and lost my train of thought. This man actually used ’scold’ in reference to his son. And if I didn’t know better, I would think his ass has been in a corner somewhere reading and learning proper pronunciation and enunciation!

My people!! What’s good with you? What are the good things going on in your life. Ya know, people always ask what’s wrong. Starting today, Kajuana’s going to ask people what’s right. I figure when we focus first on the things going well, the things going wrong are easier to deal with. Try it with me and let me know how it works out for you.

But I’m not going to bore you with that. Let’s talk about welfare. In my mind, there’s nothing wrong with getting help. However, I have a huge problem with people thinking the government owes anything to them. When I taught, I was amazed at the numbers of welfare mothers who couldn’t get their kids to school on time or who wouldn’t even consider volunteering, attending programs, or coming to Parent-Teacher conferences. Da hell were they busy doing?? Certainly not working.

In my perfect world, there would be no need for welfare. But I don’t have that world. If I had to work with what I have, I’d be the Grand Wizard of Welfare! I’d put a cap on welfare. Isn’t there one already? Five years? Then people would have to apply for an extension. And during the time a woman person is on welfare, that ass has to be on birth control!!!! Someone please come up with a safe form of birth control for men!! And, anyone on welfare has to be in some program to prepare themselves for a life after welfare.

I hear a lot of the complaints about forced birth control. WTF-ever. I understand having one unplanned kid. Hey, it could happen to anyone because even birth control isn’t 100%. Young or old. But when a person who can’t take care of the first kid has more it means this is becoming a way of life for him/her. On my system, we don’t support that way of life!

As for forcing them to prepare for a life after welfare, is there anything wrong with that?? I’d not only teach them a skill, I’d teach money management too. See, if the Unites States of Kajuana is going to give you any-dayum-thing, you are going to work hard to get it.

Kajuana, those people are lazy. They won’t cooperate. No checks for them. But this will raise crime. And they’ll go to jail. Do y’all remember my jail system?? But your tactics are racist. More Black people are on welfare. Uh, and those BLACK people need to get off. And I don’t have the numbers (OK, I didn’t bother to find them.) but I think there may be a higher percentage of Blacks compared to whites on welfare. OK. Fine. Whatever. But everyone needs to get up off of their collective asses and become a contributing member of the U. S. of K!!

What about the people addicted to drugs? What about them? If they want disability, they need to be in rehab. They’ll get tested everytime they PICK UP THEIR CHECKS!!! There won’t be none of that mailing the checks. You want your loot, your urine, and occasionally hair (cus it costs more) better come back clean or NO-CHECK-FOR-YOU.

But Kajuana, what will you do with people who don’t cooperate? Hello!! Have you met ME?? I goes hard…Or not at all. I’d get one of those fly-over states, clear it out and let the bastards live there. Border would be patrolled tighter than the White House and airspace over DC. No getting out. Once they’re in, the only way they can get out is if by allowing some medical experimenting on that ass. Or doing some other isht people who are on the outside don’t want to do. And Messicans are not exempt just because they’ll do the jobs even the Blacks won’t do! And while there, they will be responsible for growing their own food.

Can you tell I’m all for some form of welfare reform?? Can you tell I’m all about creating situations where people are damn near forced to take personal responsibility?? I’m radical like that. Allow me to re-introduce my self!
